Bock a Victim of AFL Insanity!

Nathan Bock was yesterday fined $10,000 and suspended for two matches for supposedly breaching the AFL's anti-gambling policy. The breach apparently occured when Bock spoke to friends, before Gold Coasts last game, about playing at full forward. Bock was then backed in from 100-1 to 21-1 to kick the first goal of the game. He did go on to kick the first goal, costing bookmakers more than $40,000.
I recall Bock being selected at full forward on the Thursday night before the game. I recall seeing Bocks name at full forward in the paper on the Friday before the game! Is it unreasonable to suggest that a punter would take first goal odds of 100-1 on a full forward? I certainly would have taken those odds.
The AFL in its wisdom, believes that it's bad luck for Bock that the bookies weren't savvy enough to change the odds from 100-1 to 10-1 after team selection.
Wake up Adrian Anderson, you are really starting to irritate the average punter...or should I say fan!!!
What do you think??
